Jim Hays became the Goldthwaite church of Christ preaching minister in May of 2007. He came to Goldthwaite from Los Angeles , California where he served in preaching ministry for the North Oaks church of Christ .

The Goldthwaite church’s commitment to outreach, evangelism, and the maturing of believers in Christ gives Jim enthusiasm as he works each week to connect the relevant message of God's love with the seekers and the believers who gather.  

Jim has a wonderful wife Deborah and they have four grown children, Michelle, Anthony, Amber and James.
